LightFlux
Interactive Art Installation
LightFlux is a project that explores the boundaries between plastic and performing arts, by capturing the soul inside each kind of dance using video light painting. The main idea is dance representation through colors in motion.
The dancers wear a suit with RGB LEDs, accelerometers and an Arduino board, so they are able to produce light halos in the way they dance. The result, filmed in a dark environment, is a moving light painting which contains the own motion essence of each dance style.
Interactive art installation performed at University of West England, Bristol (UK).
